Technic Systems Tyrescan

Tyrescan's operation is simple. Roll the casing or treaded tyre onto the pneumatic ram and lower the tyre onto the rollers. Using the easy to operate centralising system, centre the tyre in the machine. Swing the upper probe arm into place and introduce a small amount of water to the nside of the tyre. On starting the machine from the computer keyboard, the ultrasonic power levels will be automatically set on the first three scans. As the tyre is scanned a real time display of the information gathered will be built up on the VDU. After the machine has turned through 360 degrees it will automatically stop and go to display mode. A legend on the side of the display shows the distance travelled and the display can be fast scrolled to monitor any defects. The information can be stored or if a printer is supplied with the system a hard copy may be produced.
